What you’ll do,

Cash Management & Payments platform is responsible for the end-to-end journeys for personal current accounts and savings products to consumers, including servicing of debit and credit cards in multiple channels, as well as owning Vault, Core Banking Systems, and e-statements.

As a Senior Quality Engineer within Cash Management & Payments and Channels Lab, we need someone with an automation first approach to Testing and a focus on reducing risk. Few additional responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers and DevOps Teams to build refine design, functionality, features and experiments.
• Participate in design and process reviews and enhance the team’s capability. 
• Identify and address quality/performance issues and implement QE and engineering best practices.
• Build efficient and reusable systems and work to enhance QE process in the Lab and Value Stream.
• Knowledge across the entire Test Lifecycle including Quality Engineering, User Acceptance Testing, Test Data and Environments.

What you’ll need, 

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering. 
• Proficient in Testing toolsets including Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Appium, Saucelabs, Blazemeter, Jenkins, GitHub, Redhat, Jira and QC.
• Expedite in lifecycle including Quality Engineering, Performance Engineering, Test Data and Environments. 
• Hands on Experience in API Testing/Mobile testing /frontend testing/Unit testing/UAT Testing.
• Good Understanding in Integration with legacy systems (COBOL, JCL, IMS, SDSF, TSO, VSAM, DB2) 
• Exposure with TDD and CI CD delivery.
• Experience in Programming languages (JavaScript, Java, SQL/NoSQL, Python and Unix Shell)
• Strong knowledge on Test Lifecycle, Test Models, Best Practices, Test Benchmarking and Test Tools.
• Good Experience on SQL, Automated testing tools, software QA methodologies and processes

Nice-to-Have Skills, 

• ISTQB Certification would be an advantage. 
• Experience from a banking domain. 
• Familiarity with UFT.
